Hello everyone,
I am thrilled to be able to confirm 90.5 (Sport FM) will be broadcasting the matches as outlined in a previous thread.
ALL games will be broadcast LIVE.
ALL games played in Australia and New Zealand will be broadcast on-site LIVE.
The two South Africa games will have commentary provided by SABC.
I will commentate on every game played in Australia and New Zealand. In the coming week I'll be able to reveal more details about the commentary team.
The coverage still requires sponsors who will be offered attractive rates and exposure for their products or services both during the Rugby broadcasts, throughout the Sport FM output, and online through our website at www.905.com.au where each sponsor is provided with a link to their own site.
Sponsors can ring 9418 7700 and provide their details, or email me at force@905.com.au.
We all want to see the Force, and the sport in general grow so I'm hoping companies will realise the potential and help me create the sort of coverage fans crave.
Regards
David
Good news David, I also enjoyed the coverage of the Glory games that you provided this season, keep it up!![]()
If he can commentate on a Glory match imagine what he can do with a Force game! keep it up David![]()
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
Excellent news, David! Those one eyed kiwi radio commentators really game me the shi annoyed me.
Santa forgot my SportsEars this year, so I'll be tuning in to radio at live games in Perth too...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Good to hear, but your broadcast probably won`t reach Tom Price or Paraburdoo, so i may miss out...Actually, can anyone let me know if there is online radio coverage, or footage, live streaming or whatever it`s called...
Proudly bought to you by a brewery somewhere....
I don't think radio stations are allowed to stream Super14 broadcasts live, but I have heard of a 'pirate' internet radio station which pops up every now and then and streams such broadcasts to a select few ...
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Pirate radio stations, "Arghhh, She`d be a fine tune me hearties, arghhh, now listen up ye` scurvy dogs,arghhh...There`d be a game of rugby on ya mangy rabble, between to teams of landlubbers, aye, an` we`d be rapin` an pillagin` if we wasn`t a radio staion, fer sure...argghhhh... "

Will leon roory be back broadcasting this year he seems to have vanished of the face of the earth !
Leon Rui was floating around last year. I saw him once or twice during the season. Nice bloke. The community station he was with apparently run out of funds to run the program and no sponsor was forthcoming. Also I believe there was an issue over sharing air time with a pensioners' radio station...
Because Rugby players don't end up retired.......![]()
"Bloody oath we did!"

The Super 14 contract doesn't allow streaming on the Internet which is sad especially for country based fans of the Force.
90.5FM would be happy to allow country stations in WA to take a feed of our coverage and I would suggest asking your local stations to consider taking up the offer.
Stations can contact me the same way sponsors can - force@905.com.au
