One of the worst seasons we have had in the professional era yet most of our losses have been agonisingly close and all arguably games we could have won....bar the slaughter inflicted in Auckland.
We have hardly any silverware left in the cabinet.
The ARU is bankrupt
Much of our talent has headed offshore for the big coin.
The EMOs across the country are fretting and worrying
Yet despite the horror season, there is a sense we aren't far off the pace.
We have a backline capable of destroying anybody
We have a new coach and a new physicality
Despite the losses, the margins are merely a missed penalty or so.
A win over England fixes all evils.
Is Kuridrani out? AAC to 13. Who plays wing? Tomane probably.
Does Beale start at 12?
Surely Jones is culled? Who plays 6? Schatz?
Swing low
The smarmy geizas from Twickers need to be silenced. There is few more ungracious winners than the English rugby supporter.
We need a win

or possibly in living memory.
Keep up the enthusiasm Rex, it's an interesting change for you
I don't think so, but I can understand the sentiment.
I'm not sure about that, we want somebody who can handle the high ball. that's not Speight's game and Foley doesn't seem to be any better. Folau can't cover the whole field on his own.
You're kidding right? do you watch rugby?
Yes to 1 no to 2.....but it's a great question, who does play 6. Higginbotham surely can't return Fardy is no longer an option and the cupboard is pretty bare. To put Hodgo there (as the only other experienced backrower on tour) would lose us a fair bit of height in the lineout. We can't start a reserve lock and shuffle one to 6, since pretty much all of those options have been tried.........well there isn't an easy answer and maybe the tough answer is to play Jones again....or maybe 2 opensides.
Amen

Rex and Gigs largely agreeing ?????
I feel a disturbance in the Force!!
This cannot lead to anything good.

The sky is falling!!!!
"The main difference between playing League and Union is that now I get my hangovers on Monday instead of Sunday - Tom David
Come on bloke, we have Genia, Cooper, Beale on the bench last game - a great starting halves combo, Kuridrani who has become a world class 13, Speight and Folau in the back 3, O'Connor may come back into that mix (I know he's a w@nker but the kid can play). We need a good 12. Arguably we have one.
Cheika will sort the pack out.........."don't you worry about that"
Controversy corner
Genia is way past his prime. Slow, confused and isn't allowed to box kick.
50% of Cooper's play has the xfactor but it's at the risk of the other 50% which is complete shite and likely to gift the opposition points.
Beale is not an international player and never has been
Folau is way off his best, especially now that oposition teams know his tricks.
Speight can't tackle and was shown up by the Badger in the Baa Baa's match.
O'Conner I'll wait and see after a season back in super rugby.
Beale was simply an annoynace, forward passes, spoling others' lines
AAC & Kuidrani were one dimensional albeit at least from Kuudrani it's needed for straightening up that line
Spieght is naive & will be found out easily by the speed & nounce of the English wingers
However, for these guys to get ball they need to generate some set pieces & the scrums I believe will be an amusing affair reminiscent of a few years back. The English pack have been performing so with the confusion & lack of balance across each of the rows I would suggest England are looking forward to the game much more than than Robinson, Slipper, Hanson !
Agree with most that Hodgo is sorely missed in the Wallabies performances & would make it a great challenge agaisnt the English combinations ... but I for one are glad Hoops is capt & apparently undroppable (unlike Farrell)
It is easy to call for Jones to be dropped after getting held up a couple of times and a few loose passes but it was pretty much his debut and I think he is worth persisting with. He got a lot better after the nerves probably settled and he offers a lot in the lineout and works hard. Give him another crack he gives the team better balance than McMahon or Hodgo.
They should give Godwin a go this week though, at least off the bench instead of Beale, they have nothing to lose.
BUT BEALE IS OUR SAVIOUR AND CAN DO NO WRONG!!!111eleventy!!
Godwin is obviously a nobody and is on tour by accident. If he were a somebody he'd be playing for the Wallatahs!!
The Force players only got picked due to the fact Cheika was hoping Foley would follow and now foles did not the force players are like the baggage handlers for the team ....
