"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now if you know what you’re worth then go out and get what you’re worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain’t you! You’re better than that!" - Rocky Balboa
Luke Jones and Scott Fardy. Although I have to say that I am loving Coleman and Cottrell.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
Honestly, I wonder what having O'Connor and Giteau would have been like with their heads on straight.
Players who really could have been, but never got there? Maybe Tamaiti Horua and Gene Fairbanks. I've seen them do some great stuff when they were younger. Maybe Ryan Cross didn't really blossom here, in the way that he could have.
Injuries messing things up? Lachlan MacKay, Cameron Shepherd and poor old André Pretorius.
I thought James Stannard could have been picked as a Wallaby utility back for the 2011 World Cup too.
Who I would have liked to see at the Force? Adam Wallace-Harrison.
And back in his younger days, with our Firepower money, Craig Wing.

I wonder if there'll be any "might-have-beens" from the current squad?

Brock James without a doubt....
Do you mean like players that we cut loose or leave us that will go on to be something big?
I wonder how Phoenix Battye will turn out. I also wonder what will happen with Justin Turner. If Alby stays, Turner will most likely leave. He might stay if Alby doesn't. If he could stay injury free, he could be a very good scrumhalf.

There's one more everyone here has overlooked.
How many of those you've all named have played international rugby?
We'll there's one kid who played his first senior game in Perth, was in the Force Academy, and was overlooked for a contract, even though he toured South Africa with the Force on one occasion.
He's now a Welsh International.
