Its got to be something that the crowd can pick up really easily and appeals. "Beast" works really well for the Sharks. I can see "Bloooo" working really well for us whenever on an attacking foray or we have a scrum or a maul.
We're Blue because we're Blue is like Swing low Sweet Chariot. It would work because of its simplicity. The Twickenham crowd are like ours, reserved. Swing Low or something like it, short and easy to pick up is all that was ever going to work. Even at Cardiff, most of the Crowd only know a few specific lines "Bread of Heaven" and "Land of our Fathers". Most of them don't know anything else.
Lets go with this and not spend hours discussing things that are never going to work
what shat me was at the first home game of the season, they got on the mike and did some practice chants, then never got them going through the game! whats the point of practicing if you arent going to use it?
The only problem with blooooo, is it will sound like boooooooo.
That long "Foooooooorce" clap clap clap really shts me.
Even "Western" clap clap clap would be better, I reckon
Are there any teams in Australia where the crowds have a song? I'm not sure I have ever heard one. "Come on you blues" repeated may be a welcome alternative to FOOORCE? Agree blooos sounds too much like booos! I think we need more organisation in the crowd participation. The barmy army would be a good example- one person who instigates the chant and is a focus for all the supporters around him. Even Perth Glory now have a similar individual behind the goal who gets things going. Does anyone have someone suitable in mind perhaps in the centre of the east stand where they can easily be seen ( will need oversized flag for the purpose of attracting attention) or at the shed end?
One Honey Badger!
There's only one Honey Badger!
One Honey Badger...!
There's only one Honey Badger....!
I agree a song/chant should be easy to remember. How about an INXS song? Or something West Australian?
As for chants, the PA system could be a starter point. Also, chants could be centred around Westie.
Clap-clap, Clap-clap-clap. Let's go Westie.
Ole, ole-ole-ole, Westie, Westie.
As for team specific,
Sea-of-Blue, Sea-of-Blue, Sea-of-Blue....
I am, you are, were West Australian. (no ones bagged that) or we are the western force.
Finally, waltzing Matilda changed to Western Australia, Western Australia, Rugby in Western Australia For me, and we'll sing till were hoarse, because we support the Western Force, Rugby in Western Australia for me.
I could go on all night.![]()
'We're blue because we're blue...'... Sounds good to me
Some suggestions that were put together a couple of years ago on this website..

I think the 'Blue Army' would work quite well. Sounded a bit better with 'Sharpie' in it, mind you, nothing against Hodgo!
How about the occasional opening guitar cords from over the PA followed by a simple West-ern-For-orce from the crowd. Bit like the Brumbies do with the mexican tune followed by ole from the crowd. May need to get permission for that.
We need someone with a BIG voice..![]()
I tried when Barnett waltzed in to the middle of the field I ran around to the shed end and I tried to get "We want a stadium and we want it now"...but my battery was pretty flat at that stage.. SNOB will verify my battery doesn't last much after half time ..sometimes not even to half time..

Only in Perth:
After the away team has taken the field the announcers turn up the speakers and Phil Collins In the air tonight begins.
The words are changed slightly, but the main difference is instead of saying 'Oh lord' you say 'Go Force'.
Force emerge at the drum solo!

Rough Draft:
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Force
And I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Force
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Lord, oh Force
Well if the [Insert away team name here] were drowning, I would not lend a hand
I've seen your team before my friends, but I don't know if you know who I am
Well I was there and I saw what you did, I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off that grin, you're not going to win
It's all been a pack of lies
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Force
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Force
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Force
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Force, oh Force
Well I remember, I remember our story, how could I ever forget
It's the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence UP, oh no you don't fool me
Well the hurt doesn't show, but the team still grows
It's no stranger to you and me.
***Drum solo and team runs out onto the pitch***
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Force
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Force
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh Force
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Force, oh Force
