lote shouldgo back to league and stop making the spot light of wallabies. he gets the privallage of playing for his adopted country one of the best in the country yet he'll leave if he isnt payed bucket loads! ide give my life to play for the wallabies i wouldnt care about the money but playing for the wallabies shouldnt that be what he focuses on not the money side!
Keep Tai out of there he is useless, Polata-Nau just needs to have his fitness levels to climb. Steve Moore is better than him.
Moore has'nt done the hard yards. If anybody has done more hard yards in the the frontrow than Frontrow, please pm me with your cv.
the punters friend..... stick with me and you will be wearing
Connolly does like the way Tai plays........watch this space....Originally Posted by pruc

Watched Tai practicing his throw pre Christmas, hit the target (on the practice tower thingo at Perry Lakes) with every throw.
I was quietly impressed.

tai ahead of cannon at the moment? tai 17 paul starting. Tatafu Polota-Nau in the squad but not selected? anyone agree with me. Tatafu Polota-Nau is a kid on the rise and needs guidence from guys Paul and Cannon
Certainly agree that T P-N has a great future but yes, he is in desperate need of guidance from experienced players and he won't get that whith that twit Freier!
I think he will be the #2 by NZ 2011.
I think Tai is now in front of Canno and a good argument could be made for him to start in front of JP as well to take the brunt of the big first half hits before the lighter more mobile JP comes on to carve them up and loiter in the corridor for cheap tries.
In my mind we (Rugby) really need to evolve past the 15 man game and have the right player on at the right time from the full twenty two man team.
I've often spoken the same way re the Smith v Waugh debate, let Cro Magnon tackle his heart out in the first half then unleash George fresh from the bench at the 50 minute mark to carve up tired legs.
The same principle applies at Hooker, Scrum Half and Inside Centre for mine.

totally agree! having players on for the last 5mintues is a waste of time! planned substitutions is whats needed. and more then one senario! look at afl planned changes to put on there running players when there are tired legs on the field. same principles.
Front Row positions especially allows for this as they are the only positions where players are allowed back on to cover for an injury, effectively giving a twenty four man bench if not over abused. It would appear that Rassie is well aware of that at the Cheetahs!
