WA has 56% of its population with at least one of their parents born overseas. That means that the majority of people here are first generation Australians. The sooner everyone comes to terms with that the better. People have chosen to come to WA for a better life for themselves and their children. It's a great place. If you have come here to live then you are a now a sandgroper. A friend of mine said to me recently that you can support your old side but you should also support the side of the place you have chosen to live.

Didn't think it was relevant, but I went to that rally. Paulini had a very nice voice but a crap manager.
I have noticed that a significant proportion of spectators at most rugby internationals held at Subi Oval have been ex-pat Enzedders and/or Saffers.
Not so for the Fiji game. Not so for the Argie game.
I had thought that these ex-pats would turn up to any rugby game that was of higher standard than was usually available on any weekend in Perth, but maybe they are now getting a but pucky?
regardless on who we played, the weather and venue had a big influence
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
I skipped a day 4 mauling of Pakistan at the WACA to go to the rally at Subiaco
Argentina aren't going to be a high drawing opponant but the weather was a big factor as was the venue. Form of the Wallabies at the moment isn't exaclty helping ticket sales either.
If the resurfacing at NiB wasn't being done at the moment would the ARU have scheduled the game for NiB given one of the reason they use Subi is for the corporates?
doubt it, corporates bring in a lot of money

It's the first Wallaby game I've missed in ten years, in WA. But Subi is just crap. I would have paid double to watch at nib and would have even gone if it had been held at the WACA.
While they keep scheduling games at Subi I will go without internationals in Perth. Will have to do a bit more traveling I suppose.
May the FORCE be with you!
Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
