The Ron Alexander Stand
The Last Stand
The long sobs of autumn's violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor
Jargs and "Unregistered Guest",
Consider yourselves well and truly smited into next week for those dreadful suggestions!!
Proudly Western Australian; Proudly supporting Western Australian rugby
We are trying very hard to get some support for the cause guys. The last thing we need is trivial attempts at humour.
I don't think the Emperor was in jest !
May the FORCE be with you!
Sent the petition around Flight Centre Staff...Hopefullythat will raise a few more..
Posted it on my facebook page. Unfortunately, I have the smallest number of fb friends in the known universe so probably won't help much. But it is the thought that counts, right?
Good point. I was thinking maybe funerals. But I lost one of my best mates a year back. He had one last laugh on all of us as the casket was dissappearing. It was a mood lifter and I think everone will rember it fondly and more than all his other life-long practical joking.
Gun jokes in America would be a bit of a show stopper right now though.

I don't necessarily disagree with you bit I would add the caveat that the humour should not detract from what we are trying to achieve. Maybe I took the intent of the three or so posts in the wrong way. Oh well, let's move on and get back to trying to get the result that we're hoping for ......
A nice piece on Planet Rugby ......
http://www.planetrugby.com/story/0,2...338806,00.htmlThe Brumbies have the Larkham-Gregan stand, it's infeasible to think that when their careers are done, Richie and Dan won't have a corner of Christchurch named after them somewhere...
Meanwhile in Perth, a movement is gathering for naming rights too.
The new stand being hoisted at the NIB stadium is yet to be christened, but a wave of supporters are petitioning for it to be named after the Force's most stalwart player in its short history: Nathan Sharpe.
In the light of the frequent gushes of praise lavished upon Sharpie by this column, you'll no doubt be not at all surprised to find out that we think this is a fantastic idea.
So should you agree with us, have a little visit here and add your voice to the masses...
