For those of us who were really there it was a Sunday morning started at 10 in the morning
Enjoyed reading your posts over the years. Very amusing! It has been a bit of a roller coaster but as far as development of the sport in Perth it has been wonderful. There are many, many kids that have benefitted over the past 8 years, look at Zach Holmes, Ryan Hodson, Kyle Godwin, Justin Turner, Cruze to name a few and a whole new young crew are being given wider training opportunities this year. Here's an update on the Scrum Mums' teams, we have thoroughly enjoyed having the Force here.
Tobias Hoskins. Cott, Perth Gold and 3 years as DEvelopment Officer at RWA doing what he loves both on and off the field day in day out.
Ollie Hoskins. Been in the WF Acadamy and Force A and now entering his 2nd year as part of the wider training squad. Time will tell on that one but he is a Force boy through and through. Shame the Academy got centralised but still worked out for him as thanks to the Force he is allowed to continue his development here rather than move over there.
Stefan Cooper. Force A, Perth Gold and Cott player
Richard Cooper. WF Academy, Perh Hold and Cott player
Billy Cooper and Seb Hoskins. Still playing and enjoying their club rugby here in Perth
Scrum Mums. Still best friends. Have travelled and been on tour with our boys through State and School Boys, Perth Gold, etc and generally had a ball!
Will try and find that arial photo. I have it somewhere.
I was there. Pretty sure I was in the "s" but for some reason that's not that vivid a memory really.
I remember it being hot. I remember Gerry Gannon introducing Cosima; the next big thing. I remember being well impressed at the number of other folk there.
Well done us!
I was there and pretty sure well hung ... over.
Base of the right hand goal post at the JB's end.
Thanks for the update Scrum Mum and a belated thank you for your collective efforts at that pivotal point of time. Hope to see you around more often!
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
MPG and I were in E but not sure if it was in PERTH or SUPER. Proud to be a part of Force history
Cheers Scrum Mum. Got to say that I've never seen a "has no status" less appropriate for a new member...
left to go there, went back to afterwards .. that's about all I remember
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
We had lunch upstairs at after
80 Minutes, 15 Positions, No Protection, Wanna Ruck?
