no doubt he'll be back playing union, by the time the next world cup comes around!.........
Brad Thorn doesn't deserve to be bundled in with that gimp.

Most likely. But I don't know either of them. I'm a long time admirer of Brad Thorn - well before he played Rugby. All his code swaps were not for money reasons, but about challenging himself.
I don't begrudge SBW for taking what he can get either. Didn't like the way he left the Dogs. But that there was more going on there than has been made public is certain. He's not done much wrong since, except not get caught up in a long contract again. Water under the bridge.
Comparing how many code swaps SBW ends up with isn't bundling Brad Thorn with him as a person.

Good on you SBW - not too many athletes can do what you and Brad Thorn have done
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Sonny Bill's foray into union was conveniently timed so he could add an All Black world Cup medal to his cabinet. Sure he gave up on big bucks at Toulon, but noone can doubt the increased marketability of his brand after his stint in Super 15.
He's talented, no doubt, but his strategy is highly instrumental.
I wouldn't count on him if the ship was sinking.
His brand appeal could not be higher atm.
Nice to see him honouring a handshake agreement though. Would have been nice if an unnamed scrumhalf had done the same thing...
