$7,000 of benefits is apparently the going lure to attract a 1st grade player to Nedlands. That's from a club President yesterday who told me he lost a player this year to Nedlands for this amount.

Any truth to the rumour that Nedlands are appealing the ten game sentence handed down to a Nedlands recently convicted of eye gouging? Why only ten weeks I ask?

I too would like to know why he only got ten weeks and on what grounds would you appeal.I've been informed it was very clear on the video evidence unless Mason's version of the young man actually headbutting his fingers is correct

Heard a coach from nedlands said its clear that his fingers are in the eye an said there was no remorse but they are going to fight ut anyway !! Makes total sense...
