Its like supporting the Christians in the Colosseum every week. But i still love them.
I was disappointed right from the time I saw them run out and Harvey was wearing 10. The team announced on Thursday named Ben Seymour. Harvey was so predictable even the reTahds could read him like a book. I was expecting to see more improvement from Seymour last night. Anyone know if there was a reason he didn't get a run? or was it a masterstroke from the coaches?
Harvey is a reasonable option from FB as a second play maker and a great goal kicker but his tactical kicking is abysmal and he NEVER takes the counter attacking option. Shepherd is a far better FB.
We were the masters of our own demise last night but 10inutes against a 14 man reTahds might have swung it. Very bad decision not to award that Yellow to them and to hear that the AR's, who were so vigilant for Force infringements, couldn't help out with a number beggars belief. The referee should still have carded the player who had been racking up ruck the infringements that had gotten them to the stage of a card anyway. It's not as if any of them are reluctant to take a guess. They do it week-in-week-out.

A question I would like to ask is why Paddy Dellit hasn't been used at all in the last couple of weeks off the bench. He's a good hard, straight runner, and really could've provided a lot more than Sidey on the wing in my opinion. Selecting Sidey on the wing was a very puzzling decision for mine when Dellit was available, and he definitely didn't look like he belonged there when he got the ball. Certainly not his fault - wing isn't his position.
Don't think Dellit is 100% fit.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

Jargs....go look
Sheps ... "has bean" sorry every time he got the ball he kicked it and passed it quickly as if to say "dont want to take the hit". I wasnt that impressed with Holmes passing either .
Why did we cahnge the backline I ask. I thought they were starting to click I like Seymour. Keep Harvey at 15. Stanley: Is he here next year ???
The backline was rubbish against the Chiefs, changes had to be made...they were marginely better against the 'Tars
Really? Why would you have him on the bench for the last 2 weeks then? Surely you'd bring one of the players from the EPS onto the bench then, or give someone like Godwin some game time to start getting some Super Rugby experience.
Now that it's looking very unlikely that we'll make the finals, I'm hoping they start giving Godwin and a few of the younger guys some more game time to help their development and see if they've got what it takes with an eye to next season
Is this Jargs person the one holding an mt beer cup?
I can only agree with valzc that security at NIB is inadequate. This lout hurled abuse at me from the cheap seats on about three occasions as I was making my way to my seat. Kept going on about some team called Saints. Seemed to have me confused with a Bulldogs supporter or sumfink.
I pointed him out but security did nothing.
