the ebb and flow of psychic energy
42 years as a tight head prop, oh how time flies when your having fun. School boy rep, then played 5 years in English premier for Nottingham R.U.C . In Australia played for Wanneroo and then finished my playing days with Joondalup Brothers. Engine room rules.
Played schoolboy and Uni at tighthead - all except for one season in U15 when @12 stone, I was hooker between a 19stone and a 21 stone set of props. Occasionally we set only a front row and still outweighed the opposition scrum. Not too mobile however!!
'God invented beer to prevent Props from taking over the world'
yeah, don't think he is a member of Mensa!
Juniors played Aussie rules and switched to Rugby at about 22yo. Played wing for my first few games until the guys realised I could kick and catch so off to fullback (sometimes outside centre when our other fullback was in town). When I switched to league I became a front row (occassionally lock).
Now I watch from the stands and couch and dream of days and glories past...
coz Stone Cold says so

A Lean mean fitter on the wing or centre, with FB in League circles... now just a fat moaner in the terraces at the EWF games.
Prop all the way... Out of shaped nose and a slightly cauliflower ear
Played Eons ago - hooker mainly when you used to swing off the props.
Had two brothers playing props at uni. One would always collapse and my back was always sore!
But great fun
benny is in the mix for the job at the Force - hadnt you heard?
:-)
Ba ha ha... thanks lads...
Nah couldn't do it (WARU already know me well) and plus I would want players to play for me and the club, and not just for an income...
Enjoy my games from 95 - 2011, but now just a grumpy old F***K in the terraces drinking with my dad and my big man Zac (son)
