Your correct. The Steelers have about 65,000 season ticket holders, they will get about 7500 tickets, they will hold a lottery for them with the season ticket holder. But you know that many of them are promised to the corporations that buy the luxury suites & advertise with the teams. Scalper will get $1500-$2000 a ticket. There is no way I'd ever pay anything close to that to go to any game, unless my son was playing!
Will the Super Bowl be on TV down there?
Yes, we normally get it broadcast (I think) live. It's shown Monday morning pretty early Western Standard Time so if SB is on Sundays for you then yes, I guess it's live.
I try to watch it whenever I can, I'm not a huge fan of the sport although I enjoy it but it is one of the big sporting events for the year so always worth a watch.
The Australian broadcast normally has local content during the breaks like a panel of local and US experienced players etc.
My Uncle was living in Washington in a year that they won and he got to go, he reckons it was an amazing experience but he had no idea what was going on all day! At least I would have known the rules!
I have actually been to a game in Calgary, although they play under slightly different rules don't they?
I was in a study tour group of farmers, most of them thought the best bit was at half time when all the mascots from around Canada had a mascot match, it was hilarious and not many finished with their original heads on!!!

The Canadians rules are very similar, I think there are only small differences.
The game is on Sunday 2/5 @ 6:00 PM EST which would be Monday 7:00 am down there.
I know tailgating is not big down there but check out these 2 guys in Denver, it's priceless!
Nice work!
I'm guessing it would be a tad chilly in Denver at the moment too?!
Sorry Larry, you seem like a nice guy and all but supporting the Steelers c'mon now.![]()
Seahawks fans have been waiting for a verrrrry long time now.
... on the 6th day God played rugby and on the 7th day he rested, because he was sore and a little hungover.
And they got what they wanted: Make it to the Super Bowl. So they are happy.
We haven't finished our mission yet. One more game to win.
I live in hope though Larry.
I won't give up until I see Kirsty Alley on the 50 yard line belting out a tune.
Then its time for ALL of use to give up

"he is about 74 now isn't he?"
Ask 8, he'll remember when they started.......
Didn't take you long to change that avatar Larry, I'm guessing you'd like to change it again in a fortnight as well!?

Yeah, something along the lines of "World Champions" involved?
Good chuckle this evening on sports news Larry.
Report on the high tech helmets being used to investigate head traumas.
One of the Coaches involved said, "We have to keep teaching them to not use their head as a battering ram!!!" Made me laugh anyway![]()
