Saw a bit of the game at Harvey Field.

Cottesloe had the services of Bartolomeuz and Swimming Pool as well as a bunch of Academy and Force A players but quite frankly you wonder what Bart whatever his name is contributes to the Force squad; he's club standard at best from what I could see.

Hope the Force don't get that desperate they have to out him on the paddock, he will be an embarrassment.

Swimming Pool made a difference at half back.

Bloody disgrace that these guys can run on when the other team has none.

As long as the western suburbs clubs are happy, have their unfair share of Force players and are winning then presumably we are all expected to remain silent and be happy for our lot in life.

Get your hand off it mate, its not a disgrace. Both Bart and Swanepoel are good club men. Maybe if other clubs pulled their fingers out and were well run they might also attract these players. Full credit to cott

Pretty hard to argue against coot using Barty and Swanepoel, they haven't taken the field for the force in forever

"Maybe if other clubs pulled their fingers out "

I think what you really mean is if other clubs pulled their wallets out!

Funny how money can buy "good club men"!

PS Did not see one "Bro" in any Cott team yesterday - apparently their token Bro has defected to Nedlands.

You take your hand off it Cottbro, Cott are the most disliked club in WA by miles. They are so well run that their players are fleeing by the week. Only their fat wallet is keeping them competitive

presumably the guys the force players replaced this week will be departing Cott next week. hopefully for the foreshore

    Go Neddies.

    Club Round 5

Hansie keep some of your 'supporters' here in check- long season to go, as you also state. While you are strong favourites this season, if I remember it was 10 years between drinks last time, and in many of those years you were also favourites having cleaned up in the regular season.

Heard that Uni beat Wanneroo 24-19, after Wanneroo led 14 to 3 at the break. Which Kalamunda team turned up?

Looking at the table 2 wins could catapult any team into the top 4, two consecutive losses and you could be bottom. Should make for an interesting season.

Always to have some good banter, Neddies supporters are strong enough to cop it sweet without needing any help.

In the engine room, where it matters we know it is a long season and between 2000 and 2010 Neddies made the finals and in some years won the minor premiership only to lose in the game that mattered. The bounce of the ball has gone our way the past couple of weeks and we all know that could change any time soon. We need to push harder, create competition for spots and get better.

    Which Soaks team turned up?

Hansie, I thought the Thirsty Thirds was the engine room!

How come we don't matter? Not sure Trefor and the boys would be happy with that.

Perhaps you're being diplomatic but quite frankly with our player depth this season we should win at least four premierships. I would however be embarrassed if we had to rely on our EWF guys and I hope you would be too.

If we can win it without EWF players then we can hold our heads high.

Lets not follow the Cott game plan of "he who has the most Force players wins".

such a shame when people get shirty re WF players playing club rugby in the state - It was not long ago that everyone was bemoaning the fact that they kept buggering off to the Eastern States at every opportunity. I don't know how the players are allocated but I am sure that if some clubs who and club people who are whinging actually did some active promotion and approached players maybe, just maybe they would join. Cott does not buy the players as far as I am aware, its just where some of the players live and where they have friends - get proactive and it may do some good.

On the other hand, who will be available this week with the bye? all, some, none - could be an interesting club round.

They join clubs for money. Sorry to destroy the fantasy world that you live in.

    PS They have no friends!

Nah, even then they wouldn't want to join Clubs full of "loyal supporters" who piss and moan all the time and are located in shitty suburbs.
