Wallabies all white for World Cup

THE Wallabies will be issued with a rare white jersey in their Rugby World Cup kit bags but chances are Aussie supporters will be the only ones to pull on the new strip.
As part of the Rugby World Cup regulations, the Australian Rugby Union had to produce an alternative Wallabies jersey for the tournament in New Zealand later this year, and The Daily Telegraph was given a sneak peek yesterday of both the "A" and "B" jerseys.
The regular Wallabies jersey - manufactured by Kooga - will remain untouched apart from official Rugby World Cup logos and with sponsors removed. But the alternate strip will have a predominantly white torso, with gold shoulders, sleeves and side panels.
"We couldn't go with green and gold, because that could potentially clash with South Africa so we decided on white and figured out how we could incorporate gold into it," Kooga CEO Tyron Brant said.
But given alternate strips are designed for when two countries with similar coloured jerseys clash, there is little chance the Wallabies will need their white outfit.
Romania are the only other qualified nation who wear yellow jerseys and they would only clash with the Wallabies in a semi-final.
The minnow rugby nation has never made it past the pool stages.
The Wallabies have only worn an alternate strip once in World Cup history, against Romania in the 1995 Cup.

personally i think both of them look pretty bad
i like this one. i didnt initially. but i changed my mind about it, and i ended up buying one.
i'll probably buy the world cup edition one as well. something different, might try to get this one signed and have it framed
Green paneling down the side and green on the collar would look epic.
I always like the training jerseys too
When and why did we ditch gold for canary yellow?
Controversy corner
Nope. That's the colour it is.

Yup complete shite and totally inferior to Nike and Adidas.
^^ if your talking about the quality of the jerseys themselves then that's nonsense, they are on par with any of the other major rugby jersey producers.
Yeah that's going to be my biggest stalling point.
I ummed abd ahhed about the regular one until I saw it on special.
