would have been a good game as they were dressed in white so we would see them and them not see us so we may have had a closer game
According to Western Power there was no power cut as my Hubby phoned there emergency line telling them he was at ME stadium for the game and the girl on the line said there were no outages in Perth and that he should go and check the Meter box

There was supposed to be a power outage in Perth last night, except it occurred at the wrong stadium.

We arrived just after it happened and there was a LONG line at the gate on the railway side. They said the scanners had been affected and they eventually just let everyone in with a visual check. Buggered if I know how they came up with the announced 18,000 crowd figure.

The people at the gate who eventually just started letting people in weren't counting so they probably just pulled the number out of hat

I daresay that the power system may need a little bit of work, probably not designed for this capacity (electrically). i suppose that is the problem with temp upgrades. However, i think the sales vans all still had power, so at least there discrimination is working correctly(btw, im an electrical engineer...)
