The Emirates Western Force will head to South Africa for two matches in the Republic before returning to Perth to play the Reds in the build-up to the 2010 Investec Bank Super 14 competition.
The WA side will take part in a triangular series, beginning with the Stormers on 23 January before playing Sharks on Australia Day, 26 January.
Both matches will be played in Cape Town.
The squad will then welcome Queensland to the re-vamped ME Bank Stadium on Friday 5 February.
The full Emirates Western Force squad will be available for the trials, with the current Wallabies re-joining their team mates in early January.
Fit players not selected for the tour of South Africa will head to Fiji for the Digicel Suva Sevens tournament, ensuring all members of the squad will have quality rugby prior to round one.
Emirates Western Force head coach John Mitchell said it was important for his side to have an early opportunity to work together in a contested environment prior to the commencement of the season.
"We want three hard trials this campaign to give our new team the necessary match conditions to achieve team cohesion,” Mitchell said.
"Several new players have not been to South Africa before, so we need to give them exposure to both top quality opposition and the demands of travel. This is an opportunity for them to get started, and be under no illusions of what this competition will take, against very good sides.
"We have a good off-field relationship with both the Sharks and the Stormers, and we know that Cape Town is a terrific venue for rugby.
"This will be our third trial against the Reds since 2008. This trial will give us an opportunity to remind us of what is needed to win an Australian derby.
"All three teams bring a different style and different strengths; therefore it allows us to test and review our game in a number of areas.”
The Emirates Western Force will begin the 2010 Investec Bank Super 14 against the Brumbies at ME Bank Stadium on Friday 12 February.
