Australia captain Stirling Mortlock holds secret Japanese rugby talks
By James Hooper
September 06, 2009 Australia captain Stirling Mortlock is under fire for flying 8000km to hold secret talks with a Japanese club while Australian rugby is in its darkest hour.
The Sunday Telegraph newspaper has learned Mortlock headed to Fukuoka to meet with officials from the Kyuden Voltex club without informing the Australian Rugby Union or Wallabies coach Robbie Deans.

Generally speaking you aren’t learning much if your lips are moving!!!
Not very secret talks now!
CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!
Hooper doesn't have a very long memory if he rates this as our "darkest hour"!
I also think it would take more than his journalistic savvy if it was really a "secret" meeting.
"Bloody oath we did!"
Nathan Sharpe, Legend.
the whole article is just a crap piece of writing
Take the money Mortlock, your days with the wallabies are going to be over anyway.
It's all about youth.
Mortlock is entitled to have a look at his options...
