Does it seem suspicious to any one else that you can buy the Southern Kings merchandise on the Super 14 rugby site.
http://www.super14.com/shop/
Hmmm maybe the decision has already been made....
hmmmmmm
this is interesting...
BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Let's hope it wishful thinking. There is no way in hell the Southern Kings should play in our conference.
You know that's not the official Super 14 website right? There's a bit in there somewhere about the guys running the site - they have a different agenda.
What www.super14.com isn't the official site?
What is then?
There is no "official" super 14 site (irb.com?) Super14.com is privately owned and run for profit by a crowd called Sports Digital Media - check the footer on the site for all their others 'rugby' sites they own.
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
Seems weird that they (anyone) would be selling Southern Kings merchandise on a super 14 site though.
guess it depends on the commissions![]()
Dear Lord, if you give us back Johnny Cash, we'll give you Justin Bieber.
It's strange, they're not a team that play in any other comp. They put a team together to play against the British and Irish lions but other than that are just a combined Eastern Province, Border and South Western Districts franchise who put up for the next Super 15 bid.
I take it they'll get most of their players from the Border Bulldogs and the Mighty Elephants. Any Bok fans can correct this if it's wrong.
I don't think the Force were selling jumpers on any sites before it was announced that we had won the next franchise.
The Force didn't have a jumper to sell until after the decision, I remember making entries to the design a jumper competition.

I guess they are trying to create the aura of inevitablity. Trying to turn the balance of the vote.
id say is purely a money spinner... not everything in this world is a conspiracy..
But who would want a top of a team that may never exist?
It'd be like wanting a Karmichael Hunt 50th AFL game memorial jumper.
