yeah, he had a shit game... so did burgess, you dont seem to be burning him at the stake tonight, remove the eyepatch and watch the game again.

in your continued attacks on him after the weekend's game you are pardoning the rest of the team that played shit. you are the biggest offender of what you dub "disgraceful favoritism" it's just negative favoritism... hypocrite

Yep Burgess had a really shit game also... And JOC will do better just give the kid some reality to hold onto here... Most of those who came offf the bench were crap... This weekend... we need Rocky Elson back in the mix... I worry that JON is only is using JOC youth as a publicity tool...

yeah, he will do better... he had a shit game. none of us are denying that. i dont buy into the fact that he needed to have a bad game to keep his feet firmly planted or whatever. the simple fact is that he had a bad game. he seems to demonstrate the attitude to make good on all his mistakes. we wont really be able to judge until we see him play again however. so put your lynchpin away. or put the eyepatch on the other side... smith was gone. mortlock failed as a captain. turner was quiet, drew was MIA. baxter obviously was pissing the ref off.... do i need to go on?

No Jono thats a bit of a beat up... The Wallabies lost 20 minutes of good play with JOC the others did Ok, its was 16-16... Burgess and a few others had mixed results... George Smith did twice the work of any Wallaby... Deans will back JOC again which is good however little lord JOC is for now a bench utility until 2010 international season starts... then he gets another shot if his S14 form cuts it...

So tempted to bide in to the arguement but its really not worth the bandwidth.

JOC had a crap game but he's not the only one. No one player was without mistake, some were just worse than others. I'm sure they will all learn from it and learn to play the style of game as the ref has interpreted the rules. James has a lot of learning to do and he's not going to learn how to take on the big boys if he's not given the chance. I'd rather he stuffed up now then stuff up after he's been in the jersey for a few years and its the world cup decider.
