Bring Jimmy Hilgendorf back and do some re-shuffling to fit him in. JO'C to 10, DHP to 11, Jimmy to 12, Crossy at 13, Cummins at 14, Sheps at 15 with Daruda and Tatupu on the bench for the backline.

No, its prospective, but to take a stab based on last year's team and current Super 14/academy players:

Backs- Aidan Toua, DHP, Rod Davies, Peter Betham, Afu Taumoepeau, Matt Toomua, Kurtley Beale, Rob Horne, James O'Connor, Richard Kingi, Ben Taupai and Justin Turner.

Forwards- Albert Anae, Damien Fitzpatrick, Robert Simmons, Tom Murday, Sitiveni (Steve) Mafi, Samisoni Latunipulu, Seilala Lam, Nathan Charles or Ben Whittaker, Kane Douglas and another 2 props and 2 flankers.

Any younger than that and you are going a bit too young- just look at how the Reds wingers have been going. We could really use someone with a few years behind them. I heard Clyde Rathbone was gonna be released by the Brumbies. I figure he's used up all his injury bad luck so I wouldn't mind the Force putting a bid in there.
Yerr…. Clyde Rathbone may not get an offer for a future Brumbies contract... makes me a bit sad as I'm a fan, he has had a terrible run with injuries and all his family now have moved to Canberra so it would be unfortunate to see him have to leave...

It’s a good reminder that players don’t always have a long on field career… Clyde lost 2 years with injury and one RWC.

Realistically Alfie Mafi is a tremendous talent just waiting to fire competing for the same jersey… I think the Brumbies will make a tough decision and let him go…

I think he still has good rugby in him, if the Force picked him up that would be better than him going OS... However he may not want to play for another Australian province...

I can't work the Reds out they have plenty of talent coming though but either can't keep them or can't make it happen... Administration problems let them down...

They should do better and need to believe again...

aidan toua is a player i rate pretty highly, he is playing premier grade fullback for Easts
(08 premiers) and is doing quite well. He is not ready for S14 yet but could potentiall play next year, i think the JWC will be a good milestone to prove where he is at.

Those guys will make a pretty slamming backline in the JWC. Hopefully we won't get reffed out of the finals like last year At least the ref came out to the team/coach and apologised.

Wouldn't it be a bit silly to sign Rathbone when we are letting a player like Staniforth go? It doesn't make sense

Rathbone is 5 years younger than Staniforth and given he has been out for the last two-three years decidedly cheaper. We need another winger with both Mitchell and Staniforth departing. Any other suggestions?

Well yeah. I bet the Force are wishing they hadn't released him for a Japan move now that we are going to be a bit short on depth. Having said that we could get 2 young tyro wingers for the price we pay Spanner.
