I'd rather Jimmy to replace Gits/Spanner, Polota-Nau to replace McIsaac and for a novel idea use our own players; Scott Daruda, Dane Haylett-Petty, Ben Whittaker, Josh Tatupu. They all turn up to training week after week but never get picked (except for Dnae who was in 7s), there's not a whole lot of gratitude shown to them for their efforts and its high time RWA invested in keeping them instead of fishing around every 5 minutes for the biggest most high profile players who only want to stay for a short stint.

Not to mention that people whinge our bench isn't good enough and can't step up yet those players on the bench are never given any game time to a) encourage them to step up; and b) give them any exposure to rugby at super 14 level. How can we expect them to be stellar?

We need to be careful here, while it would be nice to give the youngsters a go, the Super 14 is a very high standard competition, and unlike SA and NZ we do not the Currie Cup and the NPC to blood the youngsters first before putting them in the deep end. To make matters worse in Perth we do not even have a club competition, we no disrespect to any one playing in it, that is going to give them the experience level they need, therefore we are always going to need high profiole players to make up the core of the team if we are to remain competitive.

Does anyone know if any of our players are going to get some experience playing in the Sydney comp this year?

Dont forget the world club cup in Singa's thats some will be good experiance for them!!! (not) I still would like to see a 2nd tier super 14 comp. curtin raisers to all the games lets get more exposure of rugby plus our up n coming players
