Emirates Western Force Voted Top Emerging Brand In WA

The Emirates Western Force has topped the WA Business News branding survey for emerging brands in 2006, with the combination of the distinctive blue and iconic black swan proving to be a winner with the public.
Respondents to the survey, which include marketing and advertising agencies across Perth, rated WA's professional rugby branding ahead of Synergy and Little Creatures, while Jesters and Nova were also in the top 10.
RugbyWA marketing services manager Sean Lee told WA Business News that the branding strategy had a significant part to play in the club's off field success.
The success of the teams' branding was never more evident than on game day, during which Subiaco Oval turned into a sea of blue as loyal fans turned out in droves kitted out in the blue jerseys and various other club apparel.
“The branding played a monumental role in providing our members and supporters with a banner under which they could unite,” Lee said.
