well, IMO this will be the closest match between the two side in recent history, with QLD obviously performing poorly the last few years.
It will be quite a interesting match as well, the two teams couldnt possibly make there rugby styles any different. NSW are self-admittedly playing ugly rugby and winning, QLD are taking the high-risk approach which has so far only been semi-succesful.
The question is, will the high-risk QLD approach finally yield some high returns, or will the NSW percenatage style football smother QLD.
I actually suspect that NSW will play this match a bit looser, whether it be a coaching ploy or there players get baited into it at the time. They definetly have the arsenal in the backline to play that type of football, and the bacrow of Mowen-Waugh-Palu/Fava also supports it.
QLD will play the match slightly more controlled, i think they will tame there efforts after tonights performance against the Cheetahs, they were just trying to push the last pass.
Who will win? .......Well im obviously going to say QLD!
should be a good match. nsw are playing alright, the ugly football comes between moments of brilliance, but those moments are rare. were strangling the life out of other teams then stinging them once there down but it makes for some boring viewing at times, the highlanders game was somewhat of a return to the good old days but i think that may have had more to do witht he opposition than th tahs themselves!
should be a good game however, i agree i think there will be alot of loose passing fromt he tahs as they get baited into being entertaining but i think the tahs, even though it will be the most even game in years. purely on home ground advantage!
I recall a brilliant start to the game by the tahs in round one, yep that's about it...the ugly football comes between moments of brilliance, but those moments are rare
sorry i meant to say i think QLD will play the match slightly more controlled in comparison to there previous performances, i still think NSW will be more controlled(lower risk) on the night.
lote is having a good year actually, i like the personnel attacks on him here cos it shows, when we overspent on a player at least we brought someone loyal!
Greg Clarke on Foxsports says the Waratahs have nothing to worry about from the Reds performance today
Here's hoping the Tahs take the same view - if so, the Reds will smash them by 30.
the Tahs are actually travelling pretty well from having the kiwi sides first up, i think they will be up for the game, hopefully the reds are to and we get some good old fashioned beat em up rah rah!
hey WJ how about a signature bet, if NSW win you can choose what my signature will be for the following week, if QLD win i will do the same.
im think of something like 'Definintion of over-rated= Kurtley Beale'
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

I wouldn't read too much into Queenslands performance tonight against the Cheethas. The Cheetahs drag their opposite team down to their level of uglyness.
Queensland to trample over the powder puffs.

The waratahs will win by about 40 points if the reds keep playing like clowns. The Reds look great but they havent tried this wannabee benji marshal crap against a decent side yet. If they keep playing the way they are waratahs will finnish them off by half time.
The only reason they got 3 trys against the cheetahs was because they had about 70% of possesion, wait untill they get half of that.
