nah not me, im back at work and i think im either going to be in Toowoomba still or maybe down at a site on the gold coast, but unfortunately not Brisbane.

I didnt realise the match was on Thursday, seems a little odd

pity its not being televised, the tahs are playing the brumbies on the same night, should be a good couple of games with a good mix of starting players and juniors! its a pity the aru cant make a pre season aus cup or something and get these games televised!

Agreed. Even as part of an expanded S14, that would make more sense - each country could play a home and away round of derbies for half points, before the international rounds leading to the final. At least it would minimise the chance of "result fixing" accusations, which will be almost inevitable if the comp finishes with the derbies and a late run knocks another country's team out of the final four/six.

actually i suppose playing the match on thursday night does make sense, it gives the teams enough time to recover and prepare for the opening S14 match, and if need be it, fly to where ever they need to be.

i think, start with a round of derbys, finish with a round of derbys.

the first round gets the press and fans interested and the last round helps players in teams not finals bound press for national spots!

that was what i thought the reason may be for the thursday games, and in reality it's not a bad one really

I am very much in favour of going TQ1 dont worry about that. I just have to discuss with Jason if he is willing to pick me up afterwards but since he is telling me to go i dont expect it to be a problem.
