I am going to put up a poll soon.
What I am after is suggestions from us the supporters as to what we like/dislike about our how game day experience.
For instance?
What do you think of the "Ground Host". Would we prefer someone who actually knew their rugby?
Should they have the Blue Crew again or should it be representatives from clubs.
Half time entertainment - could we go through another year of "catch the ball" or should we have some little tackers playing a game of Walla Rugby.
Pre match - we had the dudes fly in from the light towers, the samba chicks, the classic music babes?
Put up your suggestions and from that I'll frame a poll.
Wet sponges at Grumbles - yeah and Gits pays for the sponges and perhaps Stookie and Mitchell could take it in turns to dampen the sponges![]()
61 years between Grand SlamsWas the wait worth it - Ya betta baby
A new soundtrack would be good.
Also replays of the weekends previous s14 games (courtesy of foxtel) on the big screen - there is usually a game or two in NZ before the Friday night Subiaco experience.
Agree with new songs!
Walla Rugby definately, great way to get kids involved especially if they are able to play where the Force play...they'd love it.
No more blue crew, give it to a different club every week. Atleast they know about rugby and aren't just in it for a free game.
Also some more crowd participation especially for the kids. Face in the crowd or let a kid (from the winning Walla Rugby team) ask their favourite player a question after the match.

Use the Ball Cannon to shoot balls at the Blue Crew
Use the Ball Cannon to try and hit the dudes who fly in from the light towers

Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
I actually love that music they play before the games through the loud speaker. Yeah I know its kinda cheesy.
I want games between academy sides as a pre-game warmer. Our fringies need games too!
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
The flame thingies when we score tries?
commentators that can actually pronounce the Saffa names properly!@
Thinking of 2010.....get rid of the Blue Crew, don't replace them....there won't be the room to give away, well essentially the whole shed for free!
During the 2009 season, farm the tickets around a different group every week so nobody gets used to it, start with charity cases so that the bludging freeloaders don't have anything to complain about.
Signature tunes for try scorers (something cool and funny, anybody got suggestions?)
Ground announcements banning the wave ecept at times when the match is getting boring.....ie the sixth scrum reset is the signal to start a wave!

So your're proposing that each player has his own try scoring song
Say something from Foo Fighters for Brown Dog
We are the the Champions for Sharpie
Rocket Man springs to mind for Gits don't know why

What about some sort of kicking competition? Goal kicking, drop kicking, longest touch finder, both feet? Have elimination rounds up to the last home game and then a final.
And personalised tunes for each team that comes to visit, for example the tahs are from Sydney so "It's Raining Men" seems appropriate.
Oh and a half time show of stoning grumbles half to death with stale pie pastry (only half to death so we can use him every other week).
I have always been a fan of spectator participation during the breaks so how about a contest where a spectator has to run at AJ and if the spectator lives he gets a million dollars.
War is Gods may of teaching Americans Geography
I like the Terminator music or whatever it is when they run out. Wouldn't mind something a little less menacing than Darth Vader music for the visitors though.
Can never make out what the 'ground host' is saying so I guess it doesn't much matter to me if they know anything about the game or not. I reckon they're better off using pre-recorded stuff on the big screen.
Like the idea of an academy or whatever curtain-raiser- certainly more so than people flying in off the light towers and all that tot. I remember in 2007 seeing a couple of high school teams playing before kick off.
Blue Crew seats- have said it a thousand times- lose the freeloaders. Unless someone can demonstrate how giving away blue crew seats is encouraging people to cough up some coin for a proper ticket the next week give them to clubs/community/charity or whatever. As Gigs mentioned, hopefully we won't have room for freeloaders come 2010.
I like the signature try-scoring tunes idea-but I'm not very creative at the moment so can't help.
Oh and some sort of post-game ritual that involves ripping the crap out of the pitch before the Eagles get on it![]()
