well for those of us who do like the beach volleyball for the skill, i think natalie cook and tamsyn barnett have been doing soo well and may take it out for the girls (sorry i meant to put this in a different thread but it doesn't matter)

i just heard on the radio that C7 has altered it's tv schedule in regards to the AFL telecast on sunday to accomodate the olympics

Not here in Adelaide. We get to see Carlton v Kangaroos live instead of the Olympics.

Not that I care though. Yeah it's fun to put the Olympics on every now and then, but seriously no one gives a stuff about these sports for the other 3 years and 50 weeks out of every 4 years.

unfortunately alot of people do, why i have no idea. I am like you in the "don't give a stuff" group. But given the amount of money C7 forked out for them, $100m for 2 weeks, then the amount that sponsors would have paid for airtime during the games, it all adds up to lots of money and nothing else on tv
