Good to see the guys down there signing and a pretty good crowd considering the weather. Shame they can't get some different ones down there as all 4 of them were there last year too. Would have been great to see some of the newly capped players.
Stirlo asked how i hurt my arm, said I dislocated my shoulder doing a Mortlock dive for a try but didn't execute it as well as he does. He didn't think it was very funny - he doesn't really have a very good sense of humour!

......cry and you'll weaken your beer
did anyone else notice SMHs Greg Growden snooping around at the meet the players thing?
George Smith asked what i'd done to my hand so i told him, AAC the noob slammed one of those small rugby balls into my injured hand not knowing that that is something that just wasn't smart or appreciated .... and what was with the journos taking the players away for interviews? would've been nice if they could've waited until afterwards, but it was a good day regardless.

Hey guys, Four of the boys (Sam Cordingley, Stephen Moore, Hugh Mcmeniman and Cliffy Palu came down to the oncolgy ward at PMH today. Unfortunately my 9 year old boy has just finished being treated for cancer down there and we were told the boys were coming down. They were really good and signed lots of stuff for us and plenty of photos with them. Connor got to play Rugby 08 on playstation 2 against Cliffy Palu which was great. PS The Western Force (Connor) beat the Waratahs (Cliff) 28 - 12. I tried to put a photo of the clash in here but it hasn't worked, will keep trying.

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Great story, sounds like they really had some time to spend with the sick kids too, top effort. Also explains why they had a smaller group at the official function if they're out doing great things in the community like this!
btw, fixed up the BBCode for your image..
too difficult... can't resist... hmm.......... Only time the Force would beat the Tahs is on Playstation![]()
guys just to let you know..inside word... there were over 2000 people at the springbok signing yesterday

Thanks for putting the picture on for me, they were all great with the kids as it's not the nicest of places to spend your days. Alot of the Force boys come down and even the Coach was down there last week, they are always brilliant with the kids. I pray none of you will ever get to see the walls of that place.
Lovely to see the boys down at PMH and GO CONNER!- Show those Tahs
Tish, hope that all goes well with Connor's treatment.
today was fun![]()
