Let's hope they don't play like this next week...
Every forwards dream is to become a back...
I think next week's match will be an absorbing contest. The Boks will probably have the ascendency in the pack (save for a couple of positions) and our outside backs are dropping like flies, but I reckon our inside backs will do alright, and I'm pretty sure we'll play up to the underdogs tag as usual. It'll be intersting to see how Robbie gets over some of our weaknesses.
by 5 (we'll be scoring tries, they'll be kicking penalties, that'll be the difference)

it is the first time ever
They also brought the All Blacks' world record of 30 home wins to an end and recorded their first-ever victory at Dunedin's Carisbrook ground --known as the "House of Pain" because it is a notorious graveyard for visiting teams.
record ending
i was saying ALL visiting sides. Australia def the All Blacks at Carisbrook in 2001

Yeah fair point. It didn't seem to hurt Lauaki much and it wouldn't do as much damage as the body was hit as well. I suppose I just remember a few too many nasty hits the South Africans make like the head remover Butch James put on Stephen Larkham a few years back or Crossy's high hit against the Bulls this year.
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.
To be fair to the ref he did warn them after a number of high tackles that the next would be a yellow card (ironically the warning was to both captains), so its not the severity of the high tackle that was penalised.
I think the ref stopped play after every shortarm/full penalty as a way to gain control of the game following their analysis of last week's game which in the first half, moved at a frenetic pace and appeared to be on the verge of a meltdown.
Putting the ref aside, I thought this was a quality game especially from the Boks who showed how it should be done defensively against a quality side. There was little you could fault the Boks for, they held their lines well and made the little chances they had count and the Ricky try was a gem for sure.
Hats off to the Boks..it hurts abit but what a series this will be if all games could match the passion, intensity, and skill of the first two.
Car'n the Wobblies, I'll be rooting for yous this weekend (even wearing your colours, don't let me down).
Good game and a good win best team won on the day.
Can't we just play France again.![]()

A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...
