The on field performances were good. The crowds OK too. The most promising things back then were the performances from the juniors. Particularly the last year. Plenty of them playing in the NRL now including one remaining Western Red.
The population demographics are probably more in favour now too. We'll definitely be back next home game.
As will I, the standard of play wasn't too shabby either
i will be bringing more people as well, notably the rest of my family who love their league (and i think most of them are getting interested in rugby union now as well)

Now that sounds positive,
I tell you what, if we can get enough interest we will put aside a Western Force box at the front of the upper grandstand (best seats in the house) and you can all come in your WF gear. "The Force at the WAR ZONE". Up htere is plenty of room to expand if more WF fans want to build their own base at the Reds games.
It would be great for "Rugby" codes in Perth if we all pulled together and we certainly would make you all feel really welcome.
The old man and myself will be in our Dragons jerseys next gamei didn't think my old man would interested but when i got home he was like "why was i not informed" so we will definately be there next game
but it could be a good idea, depends on the interest.
If I'm a little more conscious when the next home game is on- I'll be there, but as with Jargs, probably in the Red V
Not this weekend but the one after swee, i am not sure of the exact date though
Thanks for the updates 'Reds 1' - you're welcome to post any Western Reds updates in the Other Sports forum anytime to keep us up on what's happening.
It may be easier for people to keep track of if you create a new thread each time rather than have this one become increasingly large.
Wish they advertised when the games were on, i had a feeling one was on the weekend but didnt find out until sunday arvo when i finally managed to read the newspaper...
I have a box btw with like 12 seats and three of us sit there. I'll see what i can do about filling it if you're interested
"Remember lads, rugby is a team game; all 14 of you make sure you pass the ball to Giteau."
Didnt the Western Reds take Brad Mackay as a star recruit?

So many puns, so little time ![]()
I may be about to drag RugbyWidow out for a game some time during the season (although I think she's expecting a rugby reprieve after round 14) and being creatures of comfort, we'd be happy to enjoy any plush facilities on offer
