2 Force back rowers? That leaves only one spot for the eastern states (ie Smith Waugh Palu Elsom and Hoiles ect.) - unlikely..
No mention of Staniforth?
And I know it may be a bit early but there is a large possiblity that O'Young could snatch a spot providing he has a solid season. Tonight with Deans watching closely will be the big oppurtunity for him and others like Pocock & Holmes.
there are 2 certains in Sharpe & Gitts. Latho will be fullback - he is the best attacking back in Australia - they will pick the world's most overated athlete on one wing (LT) and there are about 6 options for the other wing spot (including Spanner,Shep & Mitch). I agree that O'Young is a chance at half back. Mitchell obviously thinks spanner is past it so that won't help his cause - he probably needs a good game tonight to stay in the run on. Wish Phil Kearns was our coach!
the wallabies will have a great backrow, as long as they dont get to many injurys they will have a big list of good players to chose from.
