Eastwood 19 Northern Suburbs 10
CAMERON Shepherd's first game for Northern Suburbs in two years will be one he'll be keen to forget after Eastwood scored the matchwinning try while he was in the sin-bin in their Shute Shield clash yesterday.
With the scores locked at 10-all in a tense battle between the local rivals, Wallabies hopeful Shepherd received a yellow card with 10 minutes to go.
In his absence, Eastwood's Jesse Leota scored a decisive try to keep alive their hopes of a top-two finish.
And to make matters worse, the Woodies conceded a try after the siren to walk away from the contest empty-handed.
While the Wallabies were preparing to thump Fiji in Perth, Shepherd was ordered back to club rugby in order to get some match fitness after returning from a serious knee injury.

Couldn't get any better alliteration than that headline!
silly boy
Is it just me or is that very confusing writing. The scores are 10-all. Jesse Leota scores a try so presumably 10-15 or 10-17. How does the game end at 10-19 then?
Does anyone know what the card is for?
EASTWOOD 19
Tries: Jesse Leota, Rowan Kellam, Simon Norris
Conversions: Ben Ward 2
NORTHERN SUBURBS 10
Tries: James Lew
Conversions: Todd Sly 1
Penalty Goals: Todd Sly 1
At TG Millner Field
Half Time: Norths 7-5

It was probably 10-all after the try but before the conversion attempt... Silly reporters.
Another case of East Coast Bias!
