THE Western Force is heading for a disastrous Black Friday opening to this season's Super 14 competition.
The game against the BLues on biggest attraction of the year.
But as the side prepares for its best chance yet of a finals spot, figures show crowds could be deserting them. And Force management is blaming the appalling conditions for watching rugby at Subiaco Oval.

the rest of it is just blabble about how our membership numbers are decreasing rapidly. couple of quotes from greg harris.

a small piece in todays sunday times page 8...the western force is heading for a disastrous black friday opening to this season S14 competition....the club has sold only 400 tickets to the game with 2 weeks to go until kick off...greg harris states "the take up of tickets has been slow, we are two weeks away from kick off and maybe supporters are suffereing from the hang over of the MES experience, our long term viability and competitveness is dependant on getting the appropriate stadium."

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
who cares. those people who dont turn up to games coz we aren't winning are NOT REAL FANS. they are bandwaggoner's. the force dont need them. but we do need more REAL FANS if we want MES!!!

The problem is they can view through a rectangle via FOXSPORTS... I sure there will be a rush on ticket sales in the week prior to the match...
........and why buy tickets when you know you can walk up to the gate.
I bet that our crowd is still bigger then what the Brumbies will get in their converted ov.......i mean rectangle

Apart from the commit now ad, has there been any other advertising in Perth on fta TV for the season?
The Force v Blues will be a good match... I'll be watching for sure...
They better start upgrading MES tomorrow then.
If only they listened to the people last year already this would not have been an issue.

I havent seen a thing anywhere
Nova 93.7 spent the weeks leading up to the trial game plugging the game before the news every 30 mins
But getting back the Gerry's earlier post, that could have substance. I know that I used to get my tickets to the Glory (before I became a member) at the gate as I knew I would be able to. If I didn't renew my Force membership I would do the same for the Force
