G'day all.
I'm taking my 6 year old son to the big Aus vs SA match tomorrow July 19th 2008, and was wondering what radio station we can tune into for live commentary?
Thanks in anticipation.![]()

My understanding is that sports ears is to listen in on the referees and the linesman. What we're really after is the regular, old fashioned live sports commentary. I'm just assuming that one of the radio stations would carry this coverage? Perhaps not?
I dont know of any radio stations that are going to carry commentary of the game in Perth.
Sports Ears also has the Fox commentary in the right ear and the refs in the left. Unless you put them on backwards.
Trust me (I dont work for the government) get a set. They will also work for the S14 when you bring your son to thenext year.
You can set sportsears to commentary only, referee only or one in each ear...
How are your Sportsears shares travelling, Gerry, Coach?
Hi All,
As you may know Sport FM returned the the airwaves two weeks ago on 101.7fm, initially broadcasting weekends.
We approached the ARU, once our license was confirmed, to be given permission to broadcast the game seeing that both ABC and 6PR would be broadcasting the Eagles game.
Sadly they informed us this week that it was too late to find a commentary position and so therefore we were denied access.
We have started discussions regarding all future game which hopefully will be broadcast on the station.
Welcome back David - we have missed you - still love a pommy voice for my rugby - love to Leon too
