Just wondering how it is they work out the groups for the world cup??
Just had a glimpse of the groups and noticed England have both South Africa and Samoa once again in their group.
Educate me!
To some its a six-pack, to me it's a support group.
The top four teams from 2003 are seeded according to the results of the RWC 2003 and allocated across four pools. The remaining quarter finalists are drawn randomly and make up the second ban.
The remaining 12 teams are banded according to a combination of the RWC 2003 results and current IRB rankings.
Chuck Norris has the greatest Poker-Face of all time. He won the 1983 World Series of Poker, despite holding only a Joker, a Get out of Jail Free Monopoly card, a 2 of clubs, 7 of spades and a green #4 card from the game Uno.
Ireland and Argie in the same pool once again. Shame cos that means some loser team that probably won't deserve to go the quarters will end up there...
thanks!

Thats how they work but as liek FIFA the are also rigged.
France now plays matches against 2 sides which will sell out Stade France. and it cannot be a Southern Hemisphere final with the Tri-nations groups in the same path way.
Australia, South Africa and New Zealand will fight it out in Semi Final 1 while France and England will be in Semi 2.
Looks a lot like Wallabies v Frogs then. I reckon thecould give the Poms a serious run for their money. They are shite!

Give it a few more days and another bunch of girls might be bringing a rugby world cup home (not bloody likely though).

Not sure how you think the knock-out stages can have been fixed Weebie, it is possible for any combination of matches as they clearly depend on so many group game results. I agree that it is likely that Aus and NZ may not both reach the final but it is entirely possible. In fact for me the best result would be Aus to win Group B and SA to win group A with England as R-up, Aus would then get chance to send England home in the 1st Quarter Final and we could all get on and enjoy the tournament![]()
