Brumbies end `Tahs run
The Waratahs tasted defeat for the first time in the 2009 Super 14 on Friday, going down 21-11 to a slick Brumbies team at Canberra Stadium.
The Brumbies have close to a 90 per cent win rate against Australian teams and the team from the capital were on song once again in an Aussie derby.
After being on the receiving end of a Waratahs onslaught in the first 40 minutes, the home side found their running legs in the second half to outscore the visitors from Sydney two tries to one.
The Scorers
For the Brumbies:
Tries: Ashley-Cooper, Alexander
Cons: Gerrard
Pens: Gerrard 2
For the Waratahs:
Try: Turner
Pens: Beale 2
Yellow cards: Palu (Waratahs 32nd minute - cynical off side)

Brumbies did OK, but I'm sure they were better 2 weeks ago...
I really enjoyed the tahs ass kicking
I must see this replay. Bloody power died about 2 minutes before kickoff!
Hehehehe... Tahs lost!
A kick in this game is like a rather nasty alcoholic shooter, only as good as it's chaser...

BOKKE“Let me put it this way, A Springbok team contains Afrikaners, Englishmen, coloureds and blacks. It has parochial foes in Bulls, Sharks, Stormers, Cheetahs and Lions. It is a recipe for war! Yet in all the years of John Smit’s captaincy, there has never been one unhappy customer, not one voice of rebellion against his leadership. He is the glue that holds the Springboks together. The man is a legend!”- Jake White
Well done MS- Your team won
However, WJ logic says we are winning, which is cool
It also REALLY helped my tipping... 2.5 points from that game - wohoo!
