wallabies, sent homewards to think again..!

first of all a 27 year losing streak has to be broken eventually, and yesterday was that day, not the the scottish were anything special but they were one point better than the wallabies, and they played with passion hunger and pride, if giteau had kicked the conversion at the end it would of been and totally different story the wallabies would be heading to cardiff looking to go through the grand slam tour undefeated, but now they are looking down the barrell of one win, one draw and two losses....at some point will the press and supporters start questioning robbie deans, or does no one want to go there yet?......

Not a great spectacle of a rugby match but the Scots would have been hard done by to lose, especially given their dominance in defence.

    AWESOME!!!

Not yet, he can't ground the ball for them.

gits kicks never looked like going over... they were all well wide. Where to start analysing this match...

Forwards got a little bit dominated, backs also got dominated. Line out was better (yay a positive). shit... it was shit, considering the posession. we should have done much better, scotland deserved to win that.

another up side was that i won v$700k, good ole cross try

Gitz radar was definitely off...Cross deserved more of send up...conspicuous by its absence from the commentators...Kearns is so one eyed for Eastern States players..and his dribble is so darned boring....

I think the Player of the year award for Gitz if very unlikely after yesterday's efforts...

agreed. Crossy had a real crack and and to my thinking he used the best attacking options available; in retrospect maybe he could have worn a tackle and hit the deck on an occasion or two instead of trying to slickly pass it on but hey, thats all academic...

The boys have just gotta ground the ball over the line ffs! Two tries gone begging (one a bit suspect but what can the video ref do compared to a guy about a metre from the event lookig directly at it?)...and a slightly forward pass could've meant 3/4 tries to wallabies instead of just the one. Also poor kicking by Gits - only had to hit one out of about 4 to pick up the win

Hats off to Scotland who kept plugging away.

There are actually really only two kicks missed that we can accurately say could have won us this match and they are the two to end each half. The Penalties would have altered the course of the match and all that comes after that moment becomes irrelevant.
Reports have a habit of writing up reviews about how if this or that had happened then it would have been a different result, it is an absolutely flawed way of predicting an outcome.
The only kicks that can accurately be said to determine the outcome and they are kicks to end a half and conversions.
