PARIS, 11 September - A second player from the Pool A South Africa v Samoa match in Paris, on Sunday 9 September, has been cited by Citing Commissioner Douglas Hunter, after the citing of South Africa's Schalk Burger.
Samoan replacement player Alfie Vaeluaga has been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle on South African full back Percy Montgomery.
Following the Pool C Scotland v Portugal match in St Etienne, on Sunday 9 September, a Portuguese player has been cited by citing commissioner Jean-Claude Legendre.
Portuguese back row forward Juan Severino Somoza has been cited for allegedly striking Scottish lock Nathan Hines with his head.
The respective players and their team management have been informed and hearings will be scheduled as soon as reasonably practicable.
