Cannon not embarrassed over Advertisement

I saw the Ad in yesterdays West Australian newspaper with BC wearing an All Blacks jumper in support of the "Stop Violence against Australian Women" campaign.
In the article it refers to the fact that almost half of all Australian women are subjected to some form of physical or sexual violence in their lifetime.
Pretty terrifying statistics for those of us with daughters or sisters, even our mothers and grandmothers are not necessarily safe either.
We all need to realise that this is more than just embarrassing to our country, and we all need to be vigilant in the protection of the fairer sex.
So support our women by buying a white ribbon on November 25th and support this cause. I know it is MO-vember, but we can all share our support with the ladies as well. If Brendan Cannon can don the Kiwi jersey, we all can do something as well...

I am frankly amazed they used the AB jersey - seems a touch contentious given Sivivatu's issues earlier this year and the supposed link between the teams on-field success/failure and domestic violence in NZ. Surely the English strip would have been more embarrassing, although they'd have doubtless had a whinge about being associated with the particular issue.
