An icon in the Australian building and home improvement market has joined the Reds Team in 2011 by sponsoring Rear of Jersey and immediately gifting exposure in game one to the Rugby Relief campaign.
Queensland Rugby has announced Stratco, the Australian-owned retailer and manufacturer of building and hardware solutions, has become a major sponsor, buoyed by the opportunity to contribute to Queensland and its State Rugby team.
Stratco Executive Director Jarrod Stratton said the company has had a strong presence in Queensland for over 30 years and had been searching for a partner that truly displayed passion for the State and also represented the whole of Queensland.
“The Reds were a perfect choice and we are extremely proud and excited to stand next to them on the world stage. The Stratco colour is also the passionate red seen on the Queensland Reds home strip, so it makes for a perfect fit.”
Mr Stratton said he was delighted to be able to donate rear of jersey in the first game to support flood victims. “Stratco is in this with all Queenslanders. Our largest store at Archerfield was completely flooded and is currently being rebuilt to open again in late March.

The jersey on the right will be worn on Sunday for the flood appeal, but the rest of the season it will be Stratco..
They seem to like sponsoring 'Red' teams, i know they also sponsor the Adelaide Reds in the A-League.
