Why is Trimble on the bench? He's an awesome talent.

Jonny Rested from Training because he is BRUISED !!!!!!!!!

    22 February 2007
Jason Robinson (Sale Sharks) has made a good initial recovery from the neck injury he sustained in England training yesterday.

Jason will travel with the team to Dublin and receive on-going treatment for his injury before a final decision is made on whether he will start in the RBS 6 Nations match against Ireland on Saturday.

David Strettle (NEC Harlequins) will remain with the squad and travel with them as precautionary cover.

The England Coaches and medical team also decided to rest Jonny Wilkinson (Newcastle Falcons) from training today because of concerns regarding the bumps and bruises he had last week and some tightness to his right hamstring. Jonny will be assessed again tomorrow by the medical team. Mike Catt (London Irish) will also fly out with the team today as precautionary cover.

England Head Coach, Brian Ashton said “There will be no decisions on Jason and Jonny for at least another 24 hours when we will assess the situation again.”
