Perth - Springbok captain, John Smit, says it's indicative of the awesome talent in the Springbok squad when a quality player like Schalk Burger has to warm the bench.

Smit was commenting on Burger's return to the match 22 for Saturday's Tri-Nations clash against the Wallabies at the Subiaco Oval in Perth....................

About the possibility of Pienaar interchanging with Morné Steyn in the flyhalf role on attack, the Bok coach responded by saying: "We don't want our rugby team to become like a fruit salad. Ruan will wear the number 15 jersey on his back while Morné Steyn will wear the number 10 jersey. That is how we will organise ourselves, but then again our players are so versatile.

"We saw how our number three (John Smit) put in that brilliant grubber in the previous Test. The chase was done by a number 5 (Victor Matfield) who scored the try. With this team you never know what is going to happen. The players read the situation and play from there."
