rosendorff are again sponsering the player's player award and top of the table after round 1 was a tie between Mr Pocock and Mr Mitchell.
Hoping someone can get a transcript of Mr Welborn's well worded rant up but in the meantime here are the bits that stick out:
"The rugby public in WA were so happy to have an elite side in Perth that the players needed merely to pull on a Force jersey to guarantee fame and status.
They must realise that performance is the key to reward and now it is the time to perform."
ref Mitchell's half time speech in the dressing room " In the new environment (match committee thingy) it is important he has not been changed from Attila the Hun into Mary Poppins - based on last Friday's performance the players themselves would be the first to accept they need a kick in the backside"

I enjoyed his bit about what the players get up to at half time. I'll ahve to paraphrase, but something along the lines of "the forwards discussion scrum tactics, lineouts and generally going forward, while the backs do their hair and tune their guitars"
Had one of those oh-so-embarrasing 'lol-at-work' moments when I read that
I agree with making sure Attila the Hun doesn't turn into Mary Poppins
SACK THE COMMITTEE!!!
Now I'm confused...
I thought he was Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde......now you say he's......Attila the Hun and Mary Poppins
So just to clarify the point, we refer to him as Mary now?
we're quoting the article mudflap
I like the idea of John Mitchell singing super cal in fagilistic to the props - do you know it has that edge of reality that only Tah supporters would understand.
