History-making prop Kieran Longbottom has re-signed with Western Force for next season’s $1 million Global Rapid Rugby competition.
The 118kg tighthead entered Force folklore at Subiaco against the Chiefs in 2008, becoming the first WA player to go through local rugby ranks to make his Super Rugby debut.
“It’s very exciting, I’m very happy to have signed again. WA is my home and I really want to help push this club forward,” Longbottom said.

They're are all only 1 year deals.
GRR has been approved for 1 year only as who knows how the rugby landscape will change after 2020 when Super Rugby is done and dusted?
As GRR expands beyond 2020 the player contracts can be expected to change significantly as broadcast deals are locked in.
