Saracens have announced the return of prop forward Kieran Longbottom to the club ahead of the 2017/18 season.
With news that Titi Lamositele will be ruled out for a substantial period of time with a neck injury, Longbottom will join the Men in Black on a one-year deal to bolster Saracens’ front row options.
The Australian-born prop originally joined Saracens in 2014 and spent two seasons with the North London club before signing for Sale Sharks in June 2016. The 31-year-old went on to make 20 appearances for the Sharks in a season that marked his return from a serious foot injury, which had disrupted his time with Saracens.

Saracens offered him more money than he could have made in years with us. He still wanted to stay and told the ARU that if he was in the running for a Wallaby cap he'd stay, but McKenzie wasn't interested.
In the half-dozen or so matches he played before the foot injury he made such an impression he was being talked about for the England team; partly as the incumbent tighthead for England (Dan Coles) was injured.
