We've got 2 good loosies in Hoopert and Pearce. Robertson is also coming back. I'd only be interested in Kailea if Robertson transitions to THP.

Appears to be around for the long haul, having not gone to Europe in the last couple of Rebels seasons on the Bench, so could be a great long term prospect.

And very likely in the class of player RA will help go to the force. Clearly not a poster boy/sightly out of favour but in a position where they'd like to maintain his potential Wallaby eligibility to cover injuries.(Ie nobody else will want him, but he might be handy to keep in the system)

A pretty cynical view GIGS. And probably on the money.

So long as that means Mike Cron spending some extra time in Perth I'm cool with that...

Unfortunately selecting “good” players is why we have never made the finals. We need test level quality players and this rebels axing is our one chance to do that but not looking promising that we will get any

Isn't he South African? He's done four seasons with the Rebels, so I assume he'd be close to being eligible.

Interestingly, when the Thas put out the SOS, he didn't get volunteered; perhaps with a young family, that was the difference?

Looks like Medrano has signed with Vannes

Vannes Sign Santiago Medrano from Western Force:

Top 14 recruitment continues. In the case of Vannes, the quest to be competitive in the Top 14 now sees the Pro D2 champions signing Santiago Medrano. The Puma has agreed to join the club from the Western Force in Super Rugby.

Glad he has walked into a new club, wish him all the very best - in his prime now as a prop

Given their ordinary showing against a very junior France, being in Europe might bring him back into Pumas contention as well.
