Liam Martin being sent to the Sin Bin for a head pat is the worst Origin Sin Bin of all time.

I literally couldn't believe that one.

The only way I could explain it was, Klein had said next time players run in he'd send one from each side and he was looking to see which Blue did something he could penalise.

It was the worst origin penalty of all time, especially since the Maroons had knocked on in the play and the head pat was after half of the Maroons had run in and started pushing and shoving.

At the time Klein seemed totally befuddled and fretting about losing control. He was asking for help to find a couple of scapegoats to bin & not getting a lot. I saw some Toutube footage of the live MMM call. Adam Gee - who should have got both appointments - was in the referees box next door. Make of that what you will.

Based on his past performances Klein should be dropped for game 3.

It looks we Klein will be back for tomorrow's game. I hope he comes down as hard on the Queenslanders as I thing they will come out aggressively from the kick off.
I'll be watching from my hospital bed in Bunbury as I finally found enough courage to have a partial knee replacement yesterday afternoon. It was a walk in the park and I now wished that I had it done years ago.

About Klein: I've seen quite a few news pieces this week highlighting the very lopsided penalty counts at Suncorp over the past decade or so. It's not quite in the Barry Gomersal league but it's getting up there. The Blues way is mostly to bite the tongue and move on. I've not got a lot of faith in Klein doing better. But the boys are expecting more of the same and I think they are good enough to get past it.
