Crazy! Will have to be more competitive next year. I know it sounds silly but winning by large margins has the same effect as losing all the time! Go the Force.
Final score 74-10
Were they playing Curtin?
No - playing the 9th best team in the Curry Cup.
Shame you weren't there Fulvio as it was a great night of entertaining rugby and entertainment.
8.537 on a Friday night before Bled 1 was very good.
Valke found the pace and cohesion of the WF too tough to handle and struggled with the rule changes.
They just didn't get enough ball and when they did often spilled it.
Fantastic to see the extended WF bench with locals: Jackson Pugh, Chris Miller, Leon Feke, Ollie Callan and Dom Hardman.
Excellent to see Jonah Placid and Halaufa Lavaka get their first run with the Western Force and Nick Jooste get a try while playing at 13.
Love how the Force have developed into a cohesive side. I’m not. Rugby expert but its great seeing the linking up & support runners, and a go for it attitude. I know they’ve had the advantages over ‘lesser’ teams, but that will come when the other teams get regular training & get tougher. At least we do ‘t have that horrible atmosphere of sus refs & rigged games & the other shit we had with Super!
Thanks for the updates on that one coach. Ironically, the baby woke so I didn't get them till after the game anyway. Haha.
