I happen to like scones:D
I like the fruit scones. The herb ones are ok too - as long as they don't have too much parsley. ;)
(Sorry Alison)
Aunty Flos Pumpkin scones for me!
Do they come in brown paper bags Gerry?
Parsley is a very underestimated herb - widely used to solve many ailments like headaches & pains in the arse. Is also good to use for stuffing it up a ...... Duck.
Harsh on Hooper. Any head that has that much fibrosis at the age of 22 is one hell of a tough and combatant soul. He is a real warrior. Men don't peak in physical strength until about 28. He is a kid with his best in front of him and his best has already exceeded most 7's in world rugby. His never say die attitude is remarkable. He has a big motor and a flame that drives him beyond what most people can endure. The kid has a world class rugby pedigree and is already outcompeting the big boys. You wait till he grows up.
recycling posts you made a couple of years ago now Rex? The subject of the post last time was Tom Hockings, a nice bloke and a promising young player, but he's not a wallaby today is he? Possibly there's more to international rugby than a lumpy forehead!
no it hasn't, he doesn't play 7, he just wears the number on his back. When there is a night-and-day difference between the Wallaby captain and his 30 year old replacement in terms of breakdown effectiveness it's hard to say Hooper has exceeded any 7 in world rugby.
never say die, the quote TIF picked up out of the Argentina game which indicated that telling the team three times that they need to stop giving away dumb penalties was his limit indicates a fairly limited amount of 'never say die'
I'm really confused Rex, you spend most of your time on here saying that backs are gay and forwards are 'ard men who don't take a backward step, but then spend the rest of your time praising a bloke who's softer than boiled marshmallow.
Well Alison I hope you attended the home economic classes at school , cause you certainly didn't go to history classes , NZ first country to give women the vote , had female PM before AUS , and as well the first transsexual mayor of a city , who I believe westie man contacted after a certain post .
Doesn't take much to bring out the sexist comments from Kiwis in my experience. Poor things have a long way to go in the evolution stakes.[/QUOTE]
And there I was thinking first trans PM.
I thought we had an anti troll button.
Look Valzc get off Alisons back , she may have had a bad experience in the past , but one bad apple don't spoil are whole bunch as Donny Osmond would say . Hell look at the force and the mr meaner over the years , Frank could use the whole quiz not , with questions like 1 / which player did Ivan henjak punch at the left bank 2/ What got kicked around at the rottnest pre season camp 3/ The name of the coach who thought the grass was greener on the other side , only to find out it wasn't . Maybe I will send a few more for Frank to use at the quiz night .
 I guess they don't teach English in New Zealand Schools
