And the World Ranked 7th team Australia defeated the 5th ranked team (France).
French Farce indeed
The Wallabies didn't win that, France lost it.
Referring still a bug bear... First Froggie Lineout - crooked throw - Wallabies did not even throw up a jumper - why stop the game???
It reminds me of the times when a team breaks down the blindside from a set piece and ref pings the defending winger 50 metres away on the openside for being offside???
I thought Philp had a good game.
It was a very poor game from both teams but France was marginally better until the siren went! Both teams will be better for the run
I'd have to disagree. Don't care much either way, but thought Australia made all the play for three quarters of that match. Had they not butchered most everything and engaged in some baffling kicking, they should have won that comfortably.
Stan's expert Kiwi has written in the SMH today that Gordon, Lesio and To'omua, need time to gel. For mine, the sooner we see McD, JOC, Paisami, Ikitau the better.

Wallabies vs that Fiji team tonight result?!
Its really hard to get a read on that guy. Sometime he says stuff that's so far from the party line that you think he must be giving genuine opinions, other times he says the most stupid things that can be said in agreement with the general consensus. He's either confused about his role or prone to moments of incredible stupidity.PS even removing Gordon from that backline (or toomua for that matter) would be a vast improvement. For my money, the best set of inside backs would be McDermott, O'Connor and paisami the sooner they can get any of those blokes into the starting jersey the better, even if it's without all 3
